Searching for a Licensing Application

There are a number of ways to search and retrieve Licensing information. The main way is through the 'Application' search option in the menu bar. In addition, Application details may be selected from a map as well as from within the 'related information' section of the PublicAccess Property detail area.

Search by Application Reference

If you have a unique Licensing Application reference, you can search using the Application Reference Search tool. Enter at least the first four characters of the unique Application Reference. If possible, always include the full Reference and remember to enter all slashes (/). The Application Reference may look something similar to this: 05/00001/PET.

Note that a partial Application Reference may be entered where the full Reference is not known. Though a minimum of four characters are required.

With the Application Reference entered, click the Search button to return a list of all matching Planning Applications. Select the View Application Details button in the Click to view column to view the Application details.

Customised Application Search

Use the Application Details and Dates sections of the Planning Application Search form to specify specific search parameters and filter Applications. This facility provides the option to filter Applications using any combination of Application Category, Licence Application Type, Licence Type, Ward, Agent's Name, Applicant's Name, Company Trading As and Date Application Received.

If searching by Date Application Received, entering a second date in the to field will search for applications in the range of dates specified.  A single date in the from field will search for Applications of that date only.  You can enter dates by typing them in the format DD/MM/YYYY, or by clicking the button with the calendar icon to select a date. Double clicking in any date field will automatically enter today's date.

When you have specified the required variables, click the Search button to run the search. All associated Licensing Applications will be returned in a list. From here, select an Application to view the Application details.
